Angry Birds “Pig” Cake

Phoebe’s 3rd Birthday is fast approaching and I’m hoping to put together something impressive for it….so I needed to brush up on my cake building skills and took on the challenge of building a pig from the angry birds iphone game. I saw a video recently of a playable version, but i’m not that good yet, so thought i’d start with this for now.
It turned out good, and although I could not do it on camera, the cake itself was very tasty with a nice balance of icing, sponge and chocolate filling.
