Figgy Pudding
“Bring us some figgy pudding” is an awesome line from the groundbreaking Christmas song “We wish you a Merry Christmas”….and this is what I intend to do in this video folks.
It’s a really simple recipe to make (although there are trickier ones out there!) and if you can get your head around the sheer amount of treacle unloaded into the bowl it’s actually a surprisingly tasty pudding. Reminded me a little of when we made pumpkin pie back in November – wicked texture, packed with flavour, give it a go and see how you get on.

That’s aloooot of treacle! Truly an “intense” pudding! Looks pretty damn tasty
I made this and it did come out very well. I let it cool and served it in squares with a little spiced whipped cream and a glass of Port. Just a suggestion, you’ll get a smoother batter is you blend the butter with the other wet ingredients and then add the lot to the dry ingredients. Again, just a suggestion. Keep up the very entertaining and very honest work!
