Shortbread

Can’t believe how easy it was to make this….but I guess at the end of the day it’s just a really popular biscuity thing.
Mix cornflour, butter, sugar and plain flour together in a bowl and get your hands on it to form a nice big dough ball.
Roll it out to your preferred thickness then plonk it in a buttered tray. Prick it, then bake for 50 minutes on a pre-heated oven at gas mark 2….
Once done, be careful getting it out of the tray (unlike me!!) and then cut and sprinkle with sugar…..
This was a recipe from Jamie Oliver’s book “cook with Jamie” and was bloomin great.
